METABUILD, Developed the World's First ITS Key Technology

METABUILD has succeeded in developing one of the ITS key technologies for the first time in the world. Domestic as well as overseas market are expected first-mover advantage.

METABUILD(CEO Jopoongyeon) announced that they developed 'Smart-IDS(Incident Detected System).' The development of 'Smart-IDS' was costed 60 billion won over 4 year and 7 months.

METABUILD's road radar system, 'Smart-IDS', detects incidents such as stopped vehicle, wrong way driving, accident, fallen obstacle and pedestrian on the road in all-weather. Road surface state is also detected. ‘Smart-IDS’ provides these detected information to drivers and transportation operation center. Canada and the United kingdom, Finland had a radar detect technology to get information about road obstacle or road condition. However, ‘Smart-IDS’ which can detect road condition and provide road information at same time is the first time in the world.

'Smart-IDS' which uses a 34.5GHz radar frequency can reach up to 520 meter which is the longest detection distance and detect up to 200km/hr speed. The 30 centimeter of obstacle in the detection area and road condition (icy, hydroplaning, snowy) within 100 meter are detected with 90% accuracy.​​
